On 2nd October 2016, Mako van der Moezel started as our pastor, after moving to Broome from the big smoke in Perth with his wife Jessamy . Since then they have grown from two to five having added daughter, Evelyn and sons, Yarran and Raphael.
Prior to moving to Broome, Mako was the Family/Children’s Pastor at Lake Joondalup Baptist Church in Perth. Mako not only sees to the spiritual needs of the Broome Baptist family, but provides physical food to the crocs and alligators at the Malcolm Douglas Crocodile Park.
They all love it up here in Broome including the warmth, and the “lack of ever needing to wear long pants …. living the dream!”
